I write sometimes. Sometimes people read what I write, but not often.
I like to smell everything in Yankee Candle and pretend I'm traveling to far off lands. I don't like too many "nah nah's" in songs. I like my coffee black.
I recorded a solo album in 1998 with 9 original songs and a cover of "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window" because I knew the chords. Hardly anyone has heard it.
Writing this song is almost like living it / I can remember it, just like it was yesterday. With apologies to more harsher environments, living in the Northeast US in February and March is a cruel, brutal existence. At least in Alaska, Scandinavian countries, and Siberia, you know […]
It’s gonna take a lot to take me away from you There’s nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had I started watching a new show on Netflix […]
I sail for pleasure / But I found pain / I look for sunshine, yes I did / But I found rain I know what you’re thinking…gospel funk music?!?! Quite a surprise from the guy who’s waxed poetic about the likes of Ghostface Killah and the Dead Boys, […]

I can’t get next to you, I don’t really try That’s why I wrote this song, that’s why I cry I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on my good friend Sean McCoy’s podcast called The Come to the Table Podcast. I’ve listened to hundreds of […]
Everything looks so fake from 35,000 feet up. Earth’s small details that we inhabit everyday are invisible and all that’s left are the broad strokes of what billions of years of evolution has wrought. It’s as though we’re looking down on a board game or the opening title […]
“You came to me for entropy and I gave you all I had He makes a better man than me So I know he won’t feel bad” As mentioned before, I tend be a creature of habit mixed with weird idiosyncrasies. I caught myself in a moment earlier […]
“Flowers growing on a hill, dragonflies and daffodils, Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch, Phaedra is my name.” I know it’s the end of January and we still have a long way to go until summer, but you can’t fault me for […]
